UHURU/ RUTO’s popularity surges as RAILA ODINGA’s diminishes … LOOK at the statistics


Friday June 14, 2013 - According to a new survey conducted by an independent pollster, 87 percent of Kenyans support President Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto’s Government, with 12 percent supporting CORD Presidential loser, Raila Odinga.

The poll which was conducted between May 26 - June 10, covered all the 47 counties and over 6000 respondents were interviewed.

The pollster showed that 87 percent of Kenyans are confident that the Jubilee Government under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto will deliverits promises to Kenyans.

Of all those who were interviewed, 71 percent said they were optimistic that Uhuru’s free laptop project for school children will be successful, with only 25 percent doubting the project.

On the issue of devolution, 80 percent of Kenyans supported President Uhuru Kenyatta’s assent to the Division of Revenue Bill 2013, saying they have confidence in the National Assembly thanthe Senate. Only 15 percent of those interviewed supported the Senate.
